Auburn Hills Life Center
Love Mercy, Do Justice
The Auburn Hills Life Center exists to create greater equity in the Avondale School District community in the areas of student achievement and economic opportunity. The AHLC provides a safe space where children and families can be educated, empowered and engaged through value-added workshops, creative curriculum, life skills training, and networking opportunities.
Get Involved!
At this stage, we have begun piloting several AHLC initiatives and are building capacity to fully launch in 2025! The best ways to support this initiative at this time are:
Pray
Commit to pray regularly that God would open doors of opportunity and bring the right people together to be able to launch this initiative. Pray that God would guide the leadership team as they prepare and that God would work in and through the team to bring about greater justice and equity in our community.
Volunteer
As we prepare to launch programming, we will have opportunities for volunteers to in a variety of capacities! Volunteers may assist in general activities like reading with students, tutoring, supporting events, etc. We are also interested in partnering with individuals who have skills in fields like computer coding, entrepreneurship, business, and the arts. If you would like to get involved in this way, reach out to Pastor Donearl Johnson at donearl.johnson@lifechurchauburnhills.org.
Support Financially
To move the vision of the Life Center towards reality, we need financial partners willing to invest. The easiest way to make a financial contribution towards Auburn Hills Life Center is to give online and designate “Life Center” in the drop down menu.
