Parent Workshop: When Kids Ask the Hard Questions

Nurturing your child’s curiosity about God, faith, and life’s big questions through the phases of development
Sunday, September 26th
12:30pm-2:00pm
As parents, we know the feeling of being stumped by our kid’s questions. When children ask hard questions or express doubts about faith, it can feel like the stakes are high — and if we’re honest, we often feel unqualified to respond. But what if we thought of these questions as opportunities to learn and grow with our kids, rather than having the all the right answers? We’re excited to welcome La Kesia Patton, an experienced pastor of young people and families, to present on strategies for navigating conversations about God and faith with kids. La Kesia will provide resources for parents with kids at different stages of development, helping us grow in confidence as we seek to foster kid’s curiosity and desire for truth. This workshop will be applicable for parents with kids of all ages, but focused on kids Pre-K-12th grade. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
