Spread Hope this Holiday Season

“That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
(1 Timothy 4:10)

Hope was meant to be shared! We invite you to spread hope this holiday season by participating in one of the opportunities below. Have other ideas? We’d love to hear about them! Share on your social media and tag @LifeChurch Auburn Hills and let us know how you are spreading hope this season!

Other Opportunities to Spread Hope

Deliver care packages for international friends
The Holidays are a great opportunity to connect with international friends through our partner organization, Connect the Nations. Because of COVID-19, in lieu of hosting international friends for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we want to bless international friends in our community with care packages including sweat treats, cards, or small gifts. To learn more, contact Alexa Lawlor at alexa@connectthenations.org.
Prayer and encouragement phone calls

When we are going through a challenging season, God often uses prayer and encouragement from others to sustain us. Ask God to bring to mind someone you know who you can pray with. Call them and ask if you can pray with them. Read a scripture like 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 which speaks about God’s comfort in times of suffering. If you would like prayer, or would be interested in joining the prayer team at LCAH, fill out the form at: lcah.us/prayer

Bless your neighbors with an unexpected gift
Many of us, including our neighbors, may be discouraged about how the pandemic has impacted our holiday plans. Gift your neighbors with a small gift and note of encouragement, letting them know you are thinking about them. Confirm ahead of time whether they would be open to baked or homemade goods, knowing that many people are being cautious about exposure to COVID-19.  Ask if there is any way you can be praying for their family.
