He is Risen! Yes, He is Risen indeed!  Jesus defeated death and rose with all power in his hands! Seriously, take a moment and let that sink in!  The disciples were not expecting it, their faith was crushed!  No one could even image that anyone could come back after witnessing the brutal crucifixion that Jesus went though.  In fact, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, rose early headed to the tomb.  These women were not expecting to encounter a living savior but to mourn the loss of a dear friend.  They were going to pay their last respects but were interrupted with the greatest news flash known to humanity; He has risen! He is not here. Jesus’ resurrection confirmed that the price for all of our sins was paid in full and in Christ, we have been placed in a right relationship together with God.
