Outdoor Service + Graduation Party

Join us May 23rd for an outdoor worship service and graduation party! The service will be hosted in the grass in front of Auburn Elementary at our normal gathering time of 10:45am. Following the service, you are invited to join us for a graduation celebration with food, activities for kids, and a time of recognition for elementary, middle, high school and college graduates. For details on what to expect, please see the note below the registration form. Registration is required.

Please remember to bring:
  • Lawn chairs or a blanket
  • Masks for each member of your family (masks are required for anyone joining us on the lawn)
  • Water and snacks as needed

What to Expect

Parking
You should see our parking lot greeter and signs directing you to spaces in the first parking lot upon entering the school campus.  A limited number of special spaces will be reserved for those of you who wish to remain in your vehicle for the service.  There will also be some handicapped spaces available near the lawn (please let us know if you would like one of these upon arrival).
 
Masks

For our outdoor gatherings we will no longer be requiring masks. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please continue to do so! We completely respect that choice and encourage you, when you encounter someone who does choose to wear their mask at LCAH gatherings (or anywhere), not to attempt to change their mind or sow doubt about their decision. Let’s be guided by love for one another. Masks would still be required anytime you enter the school to use the restroom so please continue to have one available. We recognize that not everyone who attends these gatherings will be fully vaccinated — and if that is the case for you, we recommend that you’d continue using a mask around others.

 
Seating + Physical Distancing
There will be greeters welcoming you and helping you find a space to set up your chairs.  Families and people who have been distancing together will be seated on the lawn with 6 feet distance between groups. Please bring lawn chairs and/or picnic blankets for your own seating.  A limited number of chairs will be available, as needed.  There is very little shade on this lawn so plan accordingly.  Also, please bring personal snacks and water.
 
Service
The service will be very familiar for LifeChurch family and friends.  We will begin with singing, have a time of greeting, announcements and a message. There will not be printed bulletins but there will be activity bags available for children.
 
Nursery and Children
Children are welcome to attend. As a precaution, we will only be providing programming for LifeKids ages Pre-K through 5th grade. There is extra space on the lawn to the side of the main seating area if your young people need extra room to spread out. There will be a shaded tent available for parents with infants as needed.
 
Restrooms
We will have access to excellent restrooms in the administration building very close by.  Masks will be required in the school building.
